  • September 2 Remember 2011 was a professional wrestling event held by Vendetta Pro Wrestling on September 10, 2011, which took place at The Dome in Bakersfield, California. The event was the second annual September 2 Remember event held by Vendetta Pro. The event featured a pre-show performance by the band Society's Child, as well as the first-ever Luna Vachon Memorial Women's Battle Royal for the 2011 Lunacy Cup. It also featured title matches for all three Vendetta Pro major championships, including a match for the vacant Vendetta Pro Tri-Force Championship. With the event falling one day before the tenth-anniversary of the attacks of September 11, 2001, there was a special tribute given, not with a moment of silence or a ten-bell salute which many have done, but rather, with ten seconds of noise to honor the service of the police officers, firefighters, paramedics, military and other servicepeople who were true heroes on that day, as well as for those who have served since that day to help protect the United States of America from further attacks. This event was broadcast online live to a worldwide audience on justin.tv/vpwtv by SCR Productions. There were some technical complications early on in the show due in large part to thunderstorms in the area.
