After Tommy Oliver defeated Fyrus at the cost of his life ending the bloody conflict that lasted for nine days, destroying most of Earth. The armies of every continent such as North America, South America, Europe, Africa and Asia have decided to reunite and rebuilt together around the world. In order to fight future threats like the Malastarians, the world's leaders united their military forces to create a one world army, thus the Global Army was born. The Global Army trains men and women from all over the globe to fight against future intergalactic and even interdimensional threats. It's leader, is US Colonel David Johnson, a veteran of the war who is later promoted to Supreme Commander of the Global Army. After it's formation, the Global Army was tasked not only in safeguarding the world, but also combating international crimes such as: arms running, human trafficking, drug smuggling and so on. They were also tasked in battling terrorism. The Global Army also tried to recruit the rangers that survived the war, but they turned down their offer. Letting them know that the Rangers fight for all humanity, not for flag or country. When the five entities landed on Earth, the G.A. immediately went to investigate on the double. When Aquila was recruiting Theo, the G.A. attempted to take him in, but they failed in the process. However, they decided to join with the new Rangers to fight against the returning Malastarians in the Second Malastarian War.
