| abstract | - The October Contingent were a Russian terrorist group of ultranationalists who largely looked for ex-military recruits. However they began to search further for better manpower; for example they contacted Dmitri and Ileona Tabakov through back channels to join their group. Sydney and Vaughn posed as the Tabakovs to infiltrate the Contingent. To establish themselves they met with Yuri Korelka, a member of the group, and followed the terms of the meet; he approached and asked if the road would lead him to the Red Square. Sydney responded "All roads eventually lead to the Red Square". Satisfied with the response, Korelka allowed them to join their group, with him using the alias Tom and giving them the aliases David and Karen Parker. He took them to Liberty Village, an American style neighbourhood build in the backwater of Russia to train recruits to become spies.
