He told them he had a plan to invent a machine that could make them rich and tried to make a deal. They agreed, and Swindle had them steal the parts he needed. Later, as they were building the machine, he asked for the time piece Slow Mo had in her possesion. She refused, and Swindle transformed for the first time. He attacked The Angry Archer, Nanosec, and Professor Princess. He stole the Time Piece from Slow Mo and disposed of her. He then contacted Megatron and activated the finished weapon for a demonstration. He completely shut down the Autobots and every other machine in Detroit. Sari and Bumblebee, who had been in a parking garage when the slowdown wave hit, were powerless with Bumblebee stopped. They met the criminal team and vowed revenge on Swindle. They attacked him and sent him down to the street below. Everything was reactivated, and the Autobots resumed their pursuit. Swindle was eventually stopped by the time piece and stuck in vehicle mode. In the episode "Decepticon Air", Swindle was still held prisoner on the Elite Guard flagship. The ship flew into a space storm on Sentinel Prime's order, and the energy reactivated Swindle. He freed the other prisoners, Blitzwing, Lugnut, Sunstorm, and Dirge, and attacked the Elite Guard Autobots. Swindle and his fellow Decepticons took over the ship and put the Autobots in the brig. He told Sunstorm and Dirge he couldn't tell them apart and gave them helmets that resembled G1 Starscream's helmet and G1 Dirge's helmet. Lugnut told Swindle to guard the new prisoners while they went after an Autobot. After a while, Swindle left his post and went on his own. Later, while a space battle went on between the Autobots and their arch-enemies, Swindle was greedy and took modifications from the Elite Guard. Later, while the other Decepticons were frozen, Swindle and his mods escaped in a pod. ===Toys=== Swindle (Deluxe/2008) A deluxe sized mold. Comes with his main arm cannon.

When fireworks go off in celebration of Claus and Lavie's victory, the explosive detonates. At the auction, Alex Row gets in a bidding war with Maestro Delphine Eraclea. When the price reaches 50 billion Claudia, Duke Henry Knowles has henchmen hold Alex at gunpoint, making him forfeit the auction. Duke Knowles plans to kill Alex, but Alex takes advantage of the blackout caused by Tatiana to kill Knowles's henchmen and escape. Having won the auction, Maestro Delphine is presented with the alleged Exile artifact by Giancarlo, only to discover that it is fake. She gives Giancarlo her ring, which disintegrates him. Later, Graf presents Alex with the true key to Exile: the Mysterion of House Hamilton. Alex pays him a large sum of Claudia as thanks. After the race's end, Claus and Lavie are left without sufficient fuel to make it back to the Silvana. Lavie tells Claus that she doesn't intend to fly with him into battle anymore. Dio and Lucciola then fly by and offer to tow them back to the Silvana, an offer which they reluctantly accept. At the end of the episode, the Guild opens fire on Horizon Cave.

If he thought it were in his interest to trade with the enemy, the Autobots, he probably would. He is truly a one-robot "black market." Perhaps Swindle's greatest talent is his gift of gab. He could probably sell oil to an Arab sheik, if given the chance. In both FMC XR311 combat support vehicle and robot modes, he uses two weapons: a scatter blaster that shoots bursts of explosive buckshot-type pellets over a wide area, and a gyro-gun that disturbs the balance centers of Transformers, severely hampering their driving, flying, and/or walking. With his fellow Combaticons, Swindle combines to form the giant robot Bruticus. In jeep mode, Swindle can't handle sharp turns at high speeds very well and is prone to overturning. Although his exterior is fairly well armored, a direct hit on his unprotected open dashboard can easily disable him.
