He became a TV pundit when the BBC resumed broadcasting F1 in 2009, and had held the role until their broadcasting rights were sold to Channel 4. Jordan confirmed that he would not join Channel 4's team, instead being one of the presenters on Top Gear. However, on 8 March 2016, Channel 4 announced that he would be part of their "wider presenting" team.
