During the visit, Wesley Crusher had his first experience with the Thalian chocolate mousse. This mousse was a local delicacy made from cocoa beans aged for four centuries. For Crusher, visiting worlds like Thalos VII was the best part about being on the Enterprise. This world was one of his favorite places. (TNG: "The Dauphin" ) This planet was only mentioned in dialogue. According to Star Trek: Star Charts ("United Federation of Planets I") and Stellar Cartography: The Starfleet Reference Library ("Federation Historical Highlights, 2161-2385"), the Thalos system was located in the Alpha Quadrant. This was a trinary system with a M-class star, a G-class star, and a K-class star.
