  • Danleigh Borman (born January 1, 1985) is a South African soccer player who currently plays for Red Bull New York of Major League Soccer. In 2007 Borman was on the Atlantic 10 All-Conference Second Team after finishing the year with one goal and seven assists -- a mark that tied him for second on the team. A year before, the 5-9, 160-pound midfielder earned the A-10 Championship Most Outstanding Player award when he helped the Rams to a 2-0 win over Saint Louis University in the A-10 championship game. That season, the 2004 A-10 Rookie of the Year ended the year with two goals and five assists. During his time at URI, Borman accumulated seven goals, 16 assists while playing in 83 games.
