  • Mastery (習熟, Shūjuku) is a concept widely used by Shinobi when describing their skills, particularly in relation to individuals who have achieved the rank of Tokubetsu Jōnin, Jōnin and S-Rank. However, in order to achieve Mastery, one must go through several conditions and "stages". Although, even among the generally objective definition of Mastery exists several variations which cause discord among the populace at large.
  • Increases named skill tree node by noted level (class-based). e.g. Mastery: Human Skill Tree +1, Mastery: Idunn's Boon +1 Bonus Cap: +4

  • Summoner masteries are not set in stone; based on the type of champion you wish to control in a battle arena, masteries can be changed to better suit a summoner's needs, simply by pressing the "Return Points" button to completely reset your masteries and allow yourself to choose others in which to spend your points, you can only spend your masteries up to 30 ("re-spec"). Additionally, the available masteries are revamped on a semi-regular basis (once every season or two).
  • Each character Class has three masteries, each corresponding to one of their branches of Elemental Spells. As the character uses elemental spells, they will gain XP, which in turn will increase the level of those spells. In addition to this, the total value of the spell levels in each element combine to produce the level of Mastery in that element. Mastery provides a bonus to Damage(or healing), and Resistance, for that element. This is in addition to bonuses provided by Equipment or spells.
  • The Mastery in the 9 Dragons MMORPG, is one way to enhance your weapon damage. For every level you attain, your character will get 1 mastery point to use. Each time you Chi Breath your character will get 3 mastery points instead of the normal 1. Mastery is divided into a few categories:
  • Mastery is a skill that every worker has. The more mastery the sum of your workers have, the more likely they are to produce equipment of higher quality. Each point of mastery among all of your hired workers adds to your total mastery. For example: you have 4 workers with Mastery of 5, 10, 12, and 14. This gives you a total of 5 + 10 + 12 + 14 = 41 mastery. Each item you produce is made with 41 mastery. It's really as if you had 4 Workers each with 41 Mastery. There is currently no public formula relating your amount of mastery to the quality of an item being crafted.

  • Your mastery is a passive benefit to your character based on what talent specialization you chose. As noted in the tooltip for each paladin mastery here on Wowhead, you can increase the effectiveness of your mastery bonus by stacking items with mastery rating: http://www.wowhead.com/talent#s
  • Some classes or talent specializations desire mastery rating much more than others, depending on how powerful the bonus is to their role, but the basic idea is that this passive skill is attractive to you because of the talent specialization you chose.
