He and his partner are assigned to investigate unsolved murders from 1989, 1997 and 2000. In July of 2011, she sent a tube contained powdered blood to the regional crime laboratory for comparison; when the sample came back with a match on October 3rd of that year, the case was reassigned to OUU detectives Harry Bosch and David Chu.
