| abstract | - Call Upon Resurrection is an Alternate Acoustic band which originated in Runcorn, England. The band consists of 2 members, Charlotte Hardiman and Grant Sweeney. Grant plays Drums and Charlotte is the singer and guitarist. They both are currently working on their first album, "ColdFire" (which has 10 songs and due to be released by the end of 2008). So far they have finished and recorded their first song, Prayers Don't Work. Grant writes the lyrics for the band aswell. They seem to be doing rather well, but they refuse to become the next "White Stripes" (because its a 2-man band, and that Charlotte and Grant are dating). They hope to "start off something new and exciting for the entire UK Rockers out there...if the Chavs haven't completely taken over".
