  • Wek Lekatro was a male Dashade mercenary and bounty hunter active during and after the Second Imperial Civil War. Due to his natural resistance to Force powers, he was occasionally hired by the One Sith to hunt fugitive Jedi, and managed to kill more than one of them. The majority of his work, however, came in the form of less risky contracts from various Hutt kajidics. By 154 ABY, Wek had already completed a number of contracts for the Besadii kajidic and proved his ability to apprehend marks even if he had to go through heavy security to do so. For that reason, the Hutt clan hired him to assist Rahli in obtaining two Sith holocrons on sale in Coruscant's black market. Wek accompanied Rahli when the Zeltron met the information broker Wonga Vurb, and then the middleman Malleigh Rason and his Wookiee bodyguard Grumyukkan. Though Wek privately wished to test his skill against the Wookiee's, it did not come to a fight. When they received word that Rahli's Mistryl Shadow Guard at the Crimson Countess, Ioana Cur'tan, had died in a bar fight, Rahli became uneasy and worked to find the seller through other means. He succeeded in tracking down Synix Fer'faloon, but the Balosar had already given the location to the Twi'lek former Jedi Eche Parunam. Rahli and Wek tracked down Eche, preventing Sith Darth Rayz and Darth Waffe from apprehending her before confronting her themselves. When she refused to surrender or sell the holocrons, the two attacked. Wek managed to knife her, but lost the hand that did it when she cut it off with her lightsaber. Stealing the holocrons, the two criminals fled on a swoop, but were shot down almost immediately by agents of the Mecrosa Order. In the ensuing fight, Wek killed Aimon Bathiriat, clawing him so badly the Human was disemboweled and almost bisected. But Rahli was removed from the fight early, and Wek was no match for four Mecrosa alone. Holed by blaster bolts and struck with several throwing knives, he died shortly after.
