| General Notes | - *SPARTAN-184, also known as Sarah, is a recruit for the SPARTAN-II Class II program. She shows all of the genetic markers and character traits for selection and shows extraordinary ability to remain hidden for her age. As an orphan, she was originally to be conscripted into the SPARTAN-III program, but she would better serve as a SPARTAN-II recruit.
- *Spartan Sarah-184 is a former SPARTAN-II Class II trainee and ODST who volunteered for the SPARTAN-IV program shortly after the end of the Human-Covenant War. Receiving relatively little additional augmentation, her MJOLNIR Gen2 armor paired with her half-successful SPARTAN-II augmentations provided her with a tactical edge over many of the other SPARTAN-IV's and SPARTAN-II's. Serving with distinction from the date of her augmentation until the Second Battle of Requiem, she later moved on to work under ONI's Section III Delta-6 division as a stealth SPARTAN-IV operative.
*Refusing the offer to look at her childhood biography and name and dropping the alias of "Carpenter" which she held as an ODST, she is instead referred to by her SPARTAN-II service designation. However, her service number still uses "SC" for the two final initials, signifying "Sarah Carpenter."
- Sarah-184, a previous washout of the SPARTAN-II Class II, was reinstated as a SPARTAN-II following her tests with the MJOLNIR Mark V[B] armor in late 2551. Due to her success, with the armor, and the considerable skill she showed in it, she was transferred from her Marine Corps unit and placed under ONI's jurisdiction. From that point, until the end of the Covenant War, Sarah worked as ONI's personal SPARTAN-II, taking orders directly from them, and working under the general Naval Command when the orders did not interfere with the missions given to her by ONI. Following the end of the war, she was absorbed into the SPARTAN-IV program.
- *Sergeant Sarah Carpenter enlisted in the Marine ODSTs at the age of 16, showing incredible skill and physical and mental development. As such, she was placed directly into the ODST training without any prior service. Passing training with flying colors, she was assigned to the 105th Marine Expeditionary Unit within a recon and assault team. Quickly advancing in rank, she took command of the team only a few years after her enlistment date.
*One interesting note is the cybernetic left leg and arm that she possesses, due to injuries unreported in any of her files and unrevealed by herself. These cybernetic limbs do not interfere with her operational performance.
