Hiro, an Ordinary High School Student, just wanted to tell his friend Hikari how he felt about her... but Hikari was already dating his older brother, Atsuya. And his attempt to confess didn't work out so well... Two years later, Hiro wakes up after a seemingly random attack to find himself in a barren cell, arms shackled behind him and wearing a grotesque rabbit mask. And he isn't the only one there... With nine players gathered, the Death Game Judge begins... May or may not be a sequel to Doubt. Can be read here * Ambiguously Gay: Kazu. During his confession of his sin Kazu states that 'he can never love a girl' which either means that he is gay or that he does not have the emotional capacity to love anyone and rather just enjoys having sex. • A judge is a citizen of Mobius that is employed to oversee court proceedings, passing "judgement" over the guilt of an alleged criminal. One such judge, a vulture, appeared in the show-trial of Captain Plunder in Captain Plunder & His Sky Pirates!. Presenting the trial courtesy of Robotnik Television Company, the judge's role was merely to show Plunder in a bad light and ensure that he was sentenced to imprisonment in Metropolis City High Security Prison and the death penalty. Throughout the trial, the judge showed off his talents as an actor, ensuring the cameras got his "good side". Nevertheless, he occasionally fluffed his lines, insisting Plunder's sentence was to "be hung by the neck until [...] sorry", rather than the correct sentence of death. Not only an actor, he also had authority over Doctor Robotnik's Badnik soldiers, ordering Troopers to attack the irate Plunder.

He is most often seen presiding over many of the court cases on the show, including Peter Griffin's welfare fraud case in "Death Has a Shadow", where he was initially found guilty until Stewie Griffin used his mind control device on him. Stewie's presence as an infant, led to sympathy and let Griffin go and making him give Peter's job back. In "Screwed the Pooch", he presided over Brian Griffin's custody case for what he thought were his and Seabreeze Pewterschmidt's puppies. He ruled that Brian gets to keep his puppies, however must be neutered. File:Whitejudge1.png In "Brian Wallows and Peter's Swallows", he presides over Brian's DWI case, where he sentences him to community service. In Peter's lawsuit against McBurgertown in "McStroke", the case was initially dismissed, until new evidence led to the company's guilt. • This character was the Judge ruling on the guardian ad litem issues with respect to Alice Hartman in the Season 3 episode Finding Judas. She was portrayed by actress Jodi Long. Gregory House wanted to give Alice a cholecystectomy for her gallstones. Her father agreed, her mother objected and since they were divorced it gave House an opportunity to have a court hearing on the issue. The Judge came to the hospital for the hearing and House assured her that the father had Alice's best interests at heart. The Judge thought House was arrogant, but Cuddy assured her that House was usually right. The judge gave the father guardian ad litem privileges and they proceeded with the cholecystectomy. However, when it appears Alice is suffering an allergic reaction to everything she's exposed to, House doesn't believe it after she can easily eat a peanut butter sandwich without an adverse reaction. He thinks it is an infection and wants to give her antibiotics. However, the father now thinks Alice might be allergic to them and refuses treatment. House calls for another hearing, and unfortunately gets the same Judge. House supports the mother this time, and given that House has been right before the mother checked him out and found out he was the best doctor anyone knew. She wants to give Alice antibiotics too. However, the Judge is tired of showing up and instead makes Cuddy Alice's guardian ad litem.

In addition, they also have the authority to give rulings as needed. When a player needs a ruling to be given, they raise their hand and call the word "Judge." Then the assigned Judge can come over to view the situation at hand and make a ruling based on what they know. Most often, a Judge will have the right answer, but if a player feels they are wrong or would like confirmation, they can appeal the ruling to the Head Judge. Once a Head Judge's ruling has been given, the player must accept it and continue play following his instructions.

  • Judges are vital parts of a family's connections, they are needed to get family members out of jail sentences, or to give lenient sentences. In New York, Vito Corleone owned most of the Judges in the city, which irritated the other Dons, who wished to share their influence to help with their involvement in the narcotics trade. • The judge is naïve and gullible, but he is said to give the correct verdict without fail. He tends to change his mind very easily, a trait that both attorneys on both sides often use to their advantage. It often seems that the judge is more likely to side with the prosecution than the defense and to prefer Miles Edgeworth over Phoenix Wright, but this ultimately does not affect his verdict. He also has a tendency to try to take credit for the work that the attorneys did, which annoyed both Wright and Mia. The judge often comes across as a bit absent-minded and hard of hearing. Even as a child, the commentary on his report card read: "Has poor hearing, and often makes a mistake as a result." He has, on at least one occasion, wasted an entire day searching for his dentures only to realize they were in his mouth all along. This absent-mindedness has led to many comical occurrences in the courtroom. Nevertheless, the judge occasionally shows signs of deep wisdom, with his statements on the nature of the law at the end of the fourth episode in Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney as a perfect example. The judge is very out of touch with technology. He is known not to know the meaning of e-mail or computers, was dumbfounded at the sight of a digital camera, and refers to old-fashioned things such as the gramophone. He also has never heard of nail polish, leaving him puzzled as to why his wife's nails were red. The judge often lets his fear of certain people get to him. He is horribly afraid of Franziska von Karma and always gives in to her, to the point of forgetting that he has more authority than she does. His fear of one witness, Furio Tigre, forced him to hide under his stand every time Tigre shouted.
  • Judge (裁き Sabaki) is a special Strike weapon that is unique to Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn. Primarily wielded by Ashera the Order Incarnate, the Judge weapon manifests in the form of thirteen different variants, each of which is defined by unique sets of attacks and effects, ranging from inflicting either physical or magical damage to casting status effects on its opponents. While all these variants are definably powerful, none of them are capable of triggering critical attacks. In addition to the standard Judge weapons that Ashera employs in-game, two other Dark Magic variants exist in the game code, although these remain as unused data. Apart from these, the Judge weapon also takes on a total of four other hidden forms that are wielded by other enemy characters: One used by Lekain, one by Deghinsea and two by Sephiran.

The Judge tells Drew if he said one more word he'll be extorted from the court room. Everyone of the Jury Box tells the Judge that Angelica is a nice girl, and awarding all of her parents assents, and they all cheer. After Drew was shocked about this, and explains he was being a good father, the Judge orders the policeman to have Drew to be taken from the court room and locked up. The Policeman takes Drew away while everyone cheered while repeating he's a good father. However he ceased to exist when Drew woke up as he was part of the nightmare. He bears a striking resemblance to Supreme Court Justice Thurgood Marshall.
  • A Judge presides over court proceedings, either alone or as a part of a panel of judges. The powers, functions, method of appointment, discipline, and training of judges vary widely across different jurisdictions. The judge is supposed to conduct the trial impartially and in an open court. The judge hears all the witnesses and any other evidence presented by the parties of the case, assesses the credibility and arguments of the parties, and then issues a ruling on the matter at hand based on his or her interpretation of the law and his or her own personal judgment. In some jurisdictions, the judge's powers may be shared with a jury. In inquisitorial systems of criminal investigation, a judge might also be an examining magistrate.
  • Judge is a title held by several significant characters in the Judge Dredd series. The role of Street Judge's combines those of judge and police officer, thus avoiding long legal wrangles by allowing for criminals to be tried and sentenced on the spot. In the Judge Dredd future history, the Judge system originated in the United States (see Mega-City One), but spread to other countries around the world. • The exact role of the judge varied across cultures. In Cardassian society, the role of judge was filled by the Chief Archon. (DS9: "Tribunal") In most Federation societies judges filled important roles throughout history and many judges, such as T'Pau and Aaron Satie, were revered figures in their cultures. (VOY: "Darkling"; TNG: "The Drumhead" ) Q appeared as a judge in a post-atomic horror courtroom to the crew of the USS Enterprise-D in 2364. (TNG: "Encounter at Farpoint" ) Martin Benbeck was considered to be something of a judge on Moab IV, as he had been genetically engineered to desire that role. • A judge is an individual with the responsibility of setting or enforcing legal precedents.
  • Judges are a character class and group of NPCs in Random Kingdom VX2, elite enforcers of the laws in the Outremer (and presumably beyond the great sea), appearing along Guards when an enemy has proven a considerable threat beyond the ability of this more "conventional" law enforcement to handle, or even if a character commits an infraction against certain laws, even if it is the first legal offense. When a judge appears, the offending character will be "carded", receiving one of several colored penalty cards, with the color corresponding to the type and severity of the transgression. Commonly, yellow and red cards are awarded. Yellow cards are awarded to first-time transgressions of all but two laws, if the transgression did not result in death. Red cards are awarded if a transgression of any kind results in death, a character with yellow-card status commits a second offense, or if the law against transformations or the law against magic is broken. Judges will attempt to teleport red-carded characters to the Magdalena Gaol. If a character is not successfully apprehended following a red card and continues to accumulate transgressions (which usually happens over the course of avoiding apprehension by battling with a Judge), that character may receive a "black card", sparking a massive manhunt by numerous NPCs and causing the Judges to deal with the subject in any way, including fatal ones. On a more positive note, Judges also appear when the player characters are defeated during an encounter in the Outremer, resetting the battle to its initial conditions (including raising and restoring the player conditions). This does not occur in some story-mandated battles and boss battles and naturally not following battles with Judges. Carding is a free action by Judges and can be used both out of and inside battles whenever a character breaks a law. Judges appear to be up-armored Clerics, wearing plate mail and wielding two-handed hammers (a play on the gavel used in real-world courthouses). Unlike the Paladin, another class that seems to be closely related regarding armor selection and alignment, the Judge cannot use swords. Their skill set is largely distinct from both classes however, even though serving similar ends. Judges will appear whenever a party member commits a transgression of the laws of the empire, as long as it can be detected. A central law that when broken will cause the appearance of a judge is the use of magic, the use of which is invariably banned in Virarcaia and is also one of few offenses readily detectable by them across the entire nation. Therians are also not permitted within the nation's borders, but their existence cannot be detected in the same way as the use of magic, so it is possible to hide a therian within the jurisdiction of the judges by conventional means. Judges are also responsible for 'raising' the party after a lost battle - this raise is not identical to the White Magic spell Raise, and will instead allow the player characters to rematch the confrontation they previously lost. The Judges' power does not extend into the Dead Zone, or any other area outside the nation's borders, hence giving the player a wider array of tactical options in these locales, but also permitting permanent Death in these areas. Judges have access to a limited selection of spells available to White Mages, but their main strength lies in their Judgement skill set of unique abilities that can easily tilt the battle to their opponent's disfavour by inducing a variety of unblockable status ailments and special effects, such as outrightly removing an enemy from battle. Judges will appear to fight the player whenever a bannable offense is committed.
