  • A Newfoundlander, or "Newfie", is a person from Newfoundland. Newfoundland is a Canadian country, which means that it is a country, but it is part of Canada (or at least it has the world convinced, or trying to convince itself, that it is part of Canada). And unfortunately, people have to live in it. Enter the Newfoundlanders, who would probably live in a pile of stinking cow dung and fondue cheese if you asked them to. In fact, they probably do already. Newfies are probably all Communists, too.
