  • Spinning Kong is Donkey Kong's Up Special Move. Donkey Kong starts spinning like a helicopter, moving horizontally and gaining a little vertical distance.
  • As Donkey Kong's up special, this is Donkey Kong's main recovery. It is much more horizontal than vertical so, the player should try to be as high as possible when performing this move. As an attack, the Spinning Kong has some decent damage racking up abilities with some minor knockback but, not too effective as a killing move unless the player is closer to the ceiling
  • Spinning Kong (スピニングコング, Supiningu Kongu) is Donkey Kong's up special move in Super Smash Flash 2. Donkey Kong spins around rapidly, causing him to rise slightly and boosting his horizontal control significantly. Donkey Kong can grab ledges if he falls off the stage and when he begins the move in the air. If the player does a Spinning Kong out of a jump, the momentum from the jump will give Donkey Kong a slight vertical boost that can help him recover vertically. The attack can hit multiple times, with each hit dealing 1% for a grand total of 13% to the opponent if all the hits connect. The hit in the initial frame does 14% damage with very good knockback. This move also gives Donkey Kong a high degree of Super Armor in the initial frames of the move. Rapidly pressing the special button ca
  • Spinning Kong is Donkey Kong's Up B move in all of the Super Smash Bros. games. Spinning Kong is best used for a horizontal recovery, though it does go slightly vertical. It is not very reliable, even though it's horizontal distance goes almost as far as Meta-Knight's Mach Tornado, because of it's poor vertical rise. He has yet to use this in any non-Smash Bros. games.

It is not very reliable, even though it's horizontal distance goes almost as far as Meta-Knight's Mach Tornado, because of it's poor vertical rise. When used on the ground, the Spinning Kong can be used in a fashion similar to Bowser's Whirling Fortress; it can be used out of the shield, or as a disruptive tactic. The Spinning Kong's first hit, in which Donkey Kong extends his fist to charge up the spin, has decent knockback. It also has some invincibility frames when it first comes out, making Donkey Kong resistant to knockback. He has yet to use this in any non-Smash Bros. games.
