  • A loud, a dangerous beast, filled with perils at every turn. A test only for those who are the strongest, and one that only those who had the greatest devotion could survive. Not one for the soft-hearted, and filled with struggles in more than one manner. “Do you think they will make it?” a weak whisper leaked through the nervous cats. “Will we be able to regain the voice we need to speak with those of the many generations after us?” "What if their competition tears them apart?" another cat whimpered, "and they are too busy destroying each other to get the gem and succeed.

“Will we be able to regain the voice we need to speak with those of the many generations after us?” “We realize the threat of failure," a lithe she-cat replied, "but we have to place every ounce of faith we have into these cats. It doesn't matter who wins as long as one does." "What if their competition tears them apart?" another cat whimpered, "and they are too busy destroying each other to get the gem and succeed. "We have seen them work together when necessary," the cat refuse to be hazed, "and competition will only drive them to work harder. It will only devote them further to this task which they must accomplish. The cats around her nodded, but there was still doubt available in their eyes. “I understand your worries,” the she-cat claimed, “but you must understand that these are the cats who have endured many hardships. They have braved the dangers of the forest, crossed the mighty sea and avoided the inner threats among them on the island. They have proven themselves to have courage, strength and loyalty. They are more than halfway through." A shine of pride could almost be detected in her eyes. “Of course, it only gets harder and harder as they seem to have understood by now.” “I wish we could help them,” a cat sighed. “We wouldn't anyways,” was the response he got. “This is a test as well. When you lead them every pawstep of the way we are not testing them. We are just making them do our dirty work.” The rest of the cats nodded in agreement, “We just have to place our trust in these cats.” Beneath them three groups of cats, all different in every way possible finally reached land again, prepared to start the next part of their test. Everything was counting on them.
