Brandenburg created the republic in association with Vladimir Valentinovich Veselovsky, Supreme Dictator of the Provisional Territories of the F.A.R.T. Veselovsky granted Brandenburg the right to establish his empire in what was Austro-Bulgarian Hungermany's claimed land. The ABHG controlled two republics located in North America. It laid provisional, symbolic claims to a large expanse of Europe (territories which made up the remaining ten republics), although no plans existed to encapsulate those lands. On 24 May 2015, a treaty was signed which entered the micronation into free association with the Provisional Territories of the F.A.R.T. as the Protectorate of Austro-Bulgarian Hungermany, a state, thereby ending its independence.
