It was announced in 2012 that Capcom would be releasing Darkstalkers Resurrection, Derek Neil who is producer on Resurrection stated the game would be using modified versions of Vampire Hunter: Darkstalkers' Revenge and Vampire Savior: The Lord of Vampire from the PS2 collection.
