Ben told Jason he lived a few miles away before he started to fixate on Jason's hat. Due to it being so small and looking "incredibly gay", Ben started to howl with laughter. He abruptly stopped laughing and told the guard he was leaving and began to walk out of the building. Ignoring the awkward encounter, Jason walked over to the elevator and pressed the call button, which immediately shocked him into unconsciousness, thanks to Eric messing up the elevator by cutting a few wires. Jason woke up a few hours later suffering from shock when Jess showed up and asked what happened and where Eric was. Jason groggily told Jess what his name was before he was put on a gurney and taken away in an ambulance.
