Synopsis | - [[W:C:DC:Bruce Wayne
- Slam and Shorty inherit a race horse named Dynamite from a wealthy client they once helped. The horse is soon stolen by Jean Kennedy, the former owner's daughter. Slam agrees to let Jean keep half interest in the horse, since she knows more about taking care of him. They then begin training the horse to race.
- The Crimson Avenger learns that Laura Burlingame, the daughter of a wealthy couple, has been kidnapped. Burlingame's former business partner J.N. Worthy is requested as the go-between to leave the ransom money. The Crimson Avenger witnesses the meeting with Worthy, then follows the kidnappers to their hide-out. He ensures the girl is safe, then waits for the head of the gang to arrive. Worthy turns out to be the kidnapping ring-leader. The Crimson Avenger surprises the crooks, rescues the girl, then escapes before the police can arrest him too.
- -- Gambler Chips Grant takes an interest in fixing races. First he tries to drug the horse, then he tries to blackmail the jockey. Slam foils his plans, and Shorty substitutes for the jockey in the Kentucky Derby. Dynamite wins the race, then Slam and Shorty sell their interest in the horse back to Jean.
