Luckily, Moore picked it up for his final season, finishing 45th in the 1952 season point standings. Moore finished in the top-dozen in four of his five starts that year, only DNFing in two of the events. Of those finishes, Moore went down as finishing a career-best 3rd at Canfield and 10th at Jacksonville and Monroe.
