When Natu and her partner Myrrt were following up on a string of murders stretching across Sector 1417, they ran the victim profile and decided that the princes of the Royal House of Betra were likely targets. The Lanterns arrived right as gold-colored Maltusian mechs were attacking the brothers and lept into the fray. While Myrrt dealt with the mechs, Natu attempted to protect Stentar, but the mechs, taking advantage of the rookie's inability to affect anything yellow, shot Stentar.

When Ragnar was 15, King Froh of Svealand invaded Norway and killed the Norweigan King Siward. Ragnar joined with Siward-loyalists to drive out Froh. King Froh was famous for carrying tame serpents around his neck in battle whom would bite his enemies while he fought them. For the purpose of fighting Froh, Ragnar fashioned a coat and breeches from a hairy animalhide. In the battle that followed, Ragnar faced off with Froh and the serpents could not bite through the hide for all the hair. Nevertheless he did not hesitate to perform his duty and proclaim the damage to time must be corrected, even when Milvo concentrated on the hypocrisy of their interference when the Second Doctor was about to be executed for what they were about to do. (PROSE: World Game) Ragnar was nearing the end of his current life. He was considered the most effective member of the group and his mental powers were still very strong. He was serious by nature, and Milvo's humor was a source of annoyance. He shared Milvo's unease at Sardon, knowing the latter was probably far more powerful than anyone else in the sub-committee, but Sardon never challenged his authority. It was Ragnar's task to send the Doctor on his recon mission to Earth but he did so reluctantly, thinking it was all a waste of time. He refused to hear the Doctor's report of temporal disturbances on his recon because he considered it a distraction from the originally set schedule. (PROSE: World Game) File:CharStub.png

Another effect of the storms is the radiation given off by them, which had been discovered to damage Cylon technology and the Cylons themselves. This promts them to leave the planet alone.

While Myrrt dealt with the mechs, Natu attempted to protect Stentar, but the mechs, taking advantage of the rookie's inability to affect anything yellow, shot Stentar. As Natu made her way back to Oa to resign from the Corps for fear that her ring was cursed, Ragnar showed Myrrt his treasures, a collection of Green Lantern memorabilia. The two discussed Ragnar's desire to be a Green Lantern and shared a drink, but the conversation was cut short by another attack. Myrrt contacted Natu while engaging the mechs; however, by the time she arrived on the scene, accompanied by Guy Gardner, Myrrt was already dead. Natu stayed behind to autopsy the body, while Gardner took Ragnar to follow the trail of a leaking reactor. She quickly worked out that Myrrt's death was caused by chemicals in the wine, which affected the centers in his brain controlling willpower. Taking his body, she went to talk to a chemist purported to be able to work miracles, who attacked her instantly. Meanwhile, Gardner and Ragnar tracked down the pilot of one of the Maltusian mechs; before Gardner could glean any information from the man, Ragnar attacked, claiming he had a weapon. Ragnar's rebuke was cut short by an urgent message from Natu, which Gardner attended to after sending Ragnar back to the palace. Returning, Gardner informed Ragnar and his family that Natu had been killed.

His first few accomplishes were mere skirmishes, only the occasional gargoyle like creature or hostile sailing vessel. Some records show of him terrorising a Goblin flying ship due to his own personal beliefs. A while after the Prince left for Norhtrend, he was asked to scout out for him and he did.. Or tried to at least. On approaching the Isle, he was chilled to the core by what he saw. I quote. "The destruction, the mayhem, the mourning and sadness for the lost who would later rise to haunt them all once more. It made me turn back around, hoping that Arthas was smart enough and left or killed himself, something that wouldn't spread such chaos." It was to his horror that what he hoped did not come to bare. He lay down his shield and mythic Stormhammer to fight on the front lines with the remnants of the Old Knights of the Silverhand, taking up a blessed and holy blade which he used to cut through his enemies like a scythe through wheat, though the things he saw scarred his mind for what would be the rest of his life. After fighting a losing battle in the front lines of Northrend he retreated, back to his homeland like so many other Knights, to defend the problems that they were having. It was within the Hinterlands that he made his last fight in the Third War, as both a Dwarf of the Wildhammer Clan and as a living relic of the Knights of the Silverhand. He stood amongst his fellows, ready to fight and diefor his clan and the Alliance itself.. Pressed on one side by Scourge beasts and on the other by Forest trolls, only having as much help as some surviving High Elfs could spare.
- You will also tell him to get a life during the quest after you find out that Asleif was dead for 14 years. Then he will consider you to fall in love, and if you have completed the Throne of Miscellania, you will tell him that you already have a marriage arrangement to Princess Astrid/Prince Brand.
