Looking to feast and devour their target and add their soul among their ranks in Naraka. Once the shadows make contact it has a effect that has been described as weird and causes paralysis. The shadow souls will then merge with the targets soul and then consume it adding it among themselves. This process has been noted to be extremely painful and agonizing as you are being consumed from the inside out. Once taken the body decomposes and becomes a purplish color. These shadow souls hone in one the very principles of what Arihants hunt and seek out in order to achieve the rank of Siddha. Though they each seek any of the Three Great Poisons the shadows hone in on specific types of negative senses. Anger, ego, deception, and greed. Any contact with the shadows is fatal
