  • Liberty Hall in Philadelphia was the meeting place of the U.S. Congress from 1882 on. The Hall was a non-descript building that looked like the home of an insurance company. Liberty Hall survived both the Great War and the Second Great War. It was untouched by Confederate general Clarence Potter's effort to place a superbomb in downtown Philadelphia in 1943, which ended up exploding on the outskirts of the city west of the Schuylkill River.
  • Liberty Hall was a boxing ring. Rocky Balboa fought several opponents there.
