  • Season 13 was the final season of King of the Hill. After the episode Lucky See, Monkey Do, epsiodes were shown in 720p high-definition. 20th Century Fox Television initially ordered 13 production episodes, but decided to keep the show in production for four additional episodes (DABE14–DABE17). However, the network only aired the last of those four episodes (13 total for that production season), and confirmed it would not air the remaining four unaired episodes (DABE13–DABE16) in prime time, opting instead for syndication. These episodes premiered between May 3 and May 6, 2010, on local stations and premiered on Cartoon Network's Adult Swim line-up between May 17 and May 20, 2010, followed by the series finale (DABE17, "To Sirloin With Love") on May 21, 2010.
  • Season 13 began airing on September 21, 2006 and concluded May 17, 2007 and spanned 23 episodes.

  • Season 13 consisted of six serials and twenty-six episodes. It was during this season that the Doctor cut ties to UNIT (after Terror of the Zygons, the Brigadier would not appear again until Mawdryn Undead in 1983, and The Seeds of Doom marked the last occasion to date that the Doctor was explicitly said to be working for UNIT -- as opposed to working with them as occasions warranted). Several of the serials in this season, particularly Pyramids of Mars and The Brain of Morbius, are among the best-known of the 1970s-era storylines. Though it was aired as a part of Season 13, Terror of the Zygons was actually filmed as part of the previous season; this holdover allowed the series to switch back to an autumn season start.

  • You'd think with 13 being an unlucky number that Season 13 (or Series -13 to put more emphasis on 13 if you're that autistic) would've turned out to be the biggest pile of crap to ever come out of this franchise, but on the contrary; it turned out to be one of the GOATEST, if not season of RockaDocDock ever made, with hardcore modern fans and elderly pensioners present at the time of broadcast generally agreeing that it was the show's golden age. This all occurred because Philip Hinchcliffe and Robert Holmes attended a seance to make contact with the great Billy "whip the coloured scum" Hartnell who had recently taken up the hobby of not breathing and requested that he hold back the dreaded unlucky 13 curse for another 10 seasons were talented mothafuckas who knew how to make the show not
  • On June 8, 2013, Nigel Lythgoe confirmed on Twitter that he had been fired from the show, and Ken Warwick was later fired as well. They were replaced by Swedish Idol executive producer Per Blankens and Den of Thieves producers Jesse Ignjatovic and Evan Prager. David Hill, former head of Fox Sports, oversaw the show. Former longtime Idol judge Randy Jackson was confirmed as the show's in-house mentor, replacing Jimmy Iovine. Idol alums Adam Lambert and Chris Daughtry assisted Jackson in mentoring the contestants during "Rush Week".
