The Battle lasted for days, the republic gained the upper hand when a Jedi master used Force Stealth to take an attack force into the enemy base, and destroy it from the inside. But even then, the battle was not over, high above the planet, CIS fighters swarmed to attack the planet. Jedi and clones blasted the Droid Starfighters, but in the end, the Republic won.
