  • Rockets are a weapon that can be used by the Bounty Hunter . They are normally fired from wrist mounted launchers and can be used in conjuncture with the Bounty Hunter ability Death from Above. The corresponding weapon for Republic characters are the Trooper missiles.
  • Notoriously hard to aim with, Rockets are extremely powerful weapons if they are used effectively but this can be difficult to do without a lot of pratice. Rockets all require manual aiming, much like the cannons afford (which is useful for targeting at long range) and can be useful.
  • Like Ammo Clips, Rockets modify the type of damage or accuracy a ranged weapon does by providing new types of ammunition. Designed for use in heavy weapons, these are rounds whose damage types can be technological or magical in nature. Their ability to derive effects from any of the damage classes give these Mods a high value when fighting the biggest of demons.
  • There are 6 stages in the game. Stages 1-3 have a sky background, while Stages 4-6 have an underwater background.
  • In inFamous 2, several varieties of Rockets were introduced. While all Rockets are sent off at great speed, the specific attributes may vary.
  • For more information on ammunition see Transferring Ammo, for more information on firearms see Firearms.
  • Increase RPG Ammo is a tier 1 Training option in Battlefield Play4Free for the Engineer kit. Increases the amount of rockets the Engineer can carry for their RPG-7. As multiple shots are required to destroy APCs and heavy tanks, this training option is good choice for players who mainly play an anti-tank role. It also increases the autonomy of Engineers as it reduces their need of being supported by Assault soldiers.
  • A general term for a wide variety of rocket-propelled missiles available for different types of rocket launchers.
  • An aerial type of firework in which the entire firework is propelled into the sky. Normally exploding at some point in the air with a trail of stars and bursts. Can sometimes whistle as it is launches into the air.
  • An episode of the Weekenders that originally aired in November 1996. After Tino is mocked for being unwilling to do anything dangerous, he steals some miniature rockets from the science fair and attempts to get his friends to go along with the idea. A duplex episode with Confirmation.
  • A technological advancement available in the AAC,AAR and AA50 editions. Rockets allow each of your anti-aircraft guns to launch a free Strategic Bombing attack with a range of 3. In the AAC & AAR editions, no more than 1 strategic bombing attack can be launched by a nation each turn against a specific foe. The AA50 edition has no such limitation
  • A rocket is a missile, spacecraft, aircraft or other vehicle that obtains thrust from a rocket engine. Rocket engine exhaust is formed entirely from propellant carried within the rocket before use. Rocket engines work by action and reaction and push rockets forward simply by expelling their exhaust in the opposite direction at high speed, and can therefore work in space.
  • The fugitives visit a human village subjugated by an elder gorilla, Prefect Sover. Posing as their owner, Galen rents them out to work. The ground opens one day as a rocket blasts forth from below. The human slaves prostrate themselves before it, but the astronauts realize the rocket might be their ticket home. That night, Galen visits them, bringing news from a human named Anitra: The town is built over a hidden underground laboratory, which they call 'Down Below'. Anitra and others perform heavy labor there. He takes them to see Anitra, who refuses to take them to Down Below, fearing execution. An alarm sounds, and her mate Bilé is arrested for riding a horse and is sent to work with the mineral extractors. As apes drag him away, Virdon consoles Anitra. She takes them to the lab, telling
  • Rockets(ロケッツRokettsu) (also known as Lightning Rockets and Speed Demon Rockets) was a professional space racer and the 5 time champion of Death Race Firecracker. He was also a member of the Deadly Six Stars and possessed Samus Aran's stolen Speed Booster, as revealed on a promotional poster. This ability was the grand prize for the winner of the race, motivating Samus to participate. Rockets used the Speed Booster to wipe out the competition and target Samus through three treacherous zones of the Extreme Galaxy. He managed to damage Samus' Gunship, but Samus outwitted him by activating an overdrive in her ship and got far ahead of him. Angered by the move, Rockets Shinesparked and caught up to her. However, the overload of energy that the Shinespark created destabilized his ship, and Samus

She takes them to the lab, telling a guard named Keno that Sover sent for them. Suspicious, Keno contacts Sover. The astronauts find an underground science lab with anti-atomic protection, and continue on to a door. More than a dozen rockets stand within. Sover enters with Anitra, saying he knows who they are and needs them to make the rockets fly. In return, he'll free Bilé and give them a rocket to return home. However, he betrays them, putting Bilé in a test rocket that explodes on launch, killing him. Outraged, they refuse to help, but he kills Anitra. A few days later, Galen helps them escape. Furious over Anitra's murder, Burke grabs a pole and beats the gorilla to death. Setting the rockets to explode, they run for cover as the detonations cause an earthquake that swallows the entire building.

Chemical rockets are the most common type of high power rocket, typically creating a high speed exhaust by the combustion of fuel with an oxidizer. The stored propellant can be a simple pressurized gas or a single liquid fuel that disassociates in the presence of a catalyst (monopropellants), two liquids that spontaneously react on contact (hypergolic propellants), two liquids that must be ignited to react, a solid combination of one or more fuels with one or more oxidizers (solid fuel), or solid fuel with liquid oxidant (hybrid propellant system). Chemical rockets store a large amount of energy in an easily released form, and can be very dangerous. However, careful design, testing, construction and use minimizes risks.
