  • The Transylvanian Times is a newspaper that circulates in Transylvania within the Decap Attack series. Although only the front cover has been seen, the publication seems to be one that covers important news through the area as well as insights on local celebrities. The first shown edition featured a story about The Headless Snowmen, regular snowmen creations that had had their heads stolen (unbeknownst to everyone else) by Chuck D. Head. Page 7 of that edition also focused on Monster of the Year winner Head, who had turned to drink following the demise of his film career.

A special Hallowe'en special appeared in Return of the Pumpkins, where twenty pumpelkins had escaped from the properties of the Transylvanian Pest Control. The paper asked readers if they had seen the vegetables, warning against direct contact owing to their "extremely sarcastic" nature. A special 20 page pumpkin pull-out could be found inside. The Transylvanian Times re-appeared in Sonic the Comic Online strip Rooms (although artist Stiv drew the paper the wrong way round). This edition also showed the back page, traditionally set aside for sports news which featured the Slab-a-Cheese Cup Final between Black Forest Gateaux and Transylvania United, although the score was obscured. The front page asked about the whereabouts of Decap-Man, suggesting that the events of the previous Decap story were in fact real. However, the face accompanying the caption was of a human, not Chuck.
