It was also revealed that he had a severe stutter that was probably brought about from being in a group of just two people yet when Merrill spoke to a large group, his stutter seemingly disappeared. When Danforth Jr. died in an accident that left his girlfriend in a coma, Merrill identified the body although tests later confirmed that the body did not match that of Danforth Jr.
