| abstract | - Corso Marek, affectionately known as Cory, was a Force-sensitive Near-Human male Mandalorian who fought during the Kedd'ej War. Born on Telos IV to Telosian governor Aeron Marek and unaware of his mother, he was raised with his twin sister, Tiya. A meek individual due to a harsh upbringing courtesy of his father he was deemed by his family as being unworthy of the Marek name. Marek eventually found himself in trouble on Ord Sedra where he came in contact with a group of Mandalorians, led by Jai'ga Shan and Rohan Dyre. Under the guidance of Shan and Dyre, Marek became a force to be reckoned with, a natural soldier with uncompromising loyalty to his fellow Mandalorians, eventually earning him the right to be the first in over five decades to be truly worthy of the title of Mandalore. Claiming the moniker Mandalore the Crusader, he vowed to lead his people to victory against those who would try and purge the Mandalorians.
