  • Feedback Update: Living Rock Caverns, Advisors and Objectives
rdfs:comment
  • Once again, we're back with another improvement to last week's updates. So, what have we chosen from your feedback to put in-game this time? Well, firstly we've updated the brand new Objectives tab with some new features. Players can now choose to set completing a particular achievement diary or task, unlocking a piece of music or gaining a certain amount of quest points as their objective. The new tutorial also receives an update which removes the ladder to Sir Vant's cellar for older players as well as newer ones. In addition, the tutorial will now give two 250xp lamps, like the original Learning the Ropes, instead of level 4 mining or woodcutting.

But we can't forget our other update for high-level players last week - the Living Rock Caverns beneath Ice Mountain. Free players will now also be able to access the caverns, but they won't be able to mine, fish or attack living rock patriarchs and strikers. They will, however, be able to attack protectors and then mine their remains. To ensure f2p can't kill or be killed by strikers or patriarchs, a slayer level of 23 will now be required to fight strikers and a level of 46 for patriarchs. In addition to this, two concentrated silver rocks have been added for any players, including non-members, with level 54 mining or above. For those high-level fisherman, you may receive a surprise when fishing for Rocktail - Big Rocktail. If you are also an accomplished builder, you can mount these huge cave monsters on your Skill Hall walls - not sure why you'd want to considering how ugly these things are but still, the option is there. Finally, members will now receive the full benefits of Rocktail and Cavefish regardless whether the fish is cooked or not. That's the end of this week's feedback updates - we'll see you next time!
