However, the event was cancelled due to an accident in the pits, and subsequently, Hazzard did not appear on the televised show. | abstract | - Hazzard was a lightweight robot built by Team General to succeed their previous lightweight robot Spartacus. Hazzard was due to enter the Lightweight Championship of Series 3 of Robot Wars. However, the event was cancelled due to an accident in the pits, and subsequently, Hazzard did not appear on the televised show. As a result of this, very little is known about it and its performance. "HAZZARD arrived for the Lightweight Competition at Elstree Studios on WEDS 20th October 1999. Due to an accident, filming was stopped and the lightweight and featherweight filming cancelled for this series. VERY VERY SAD. Our sympathies go to the creator of ZIPPY from Manchester, the Slippery Strana team from Bristol and others who must be as gutted as we are." — Team General website Although Team General weren't able to participate with Hazzard, the team still took part in the Robotic Soccer tournament with The General in the Third Wars. The team attempted to qualify for Series 4 with Slicer and an improved version of The General, both of which failed to qualify.

A movimentare questo mortorio ci pensano due allegri cugini ultraconservatori, Bo Duke e Luke Duke, che vanno a fare i punk con una stupenda macchina arancione munita di bandiera confederata sul tetto in puro stile anarchico. Questi due passano la vita a rompere il cazzo a Boss Hogg, un obeso sindaco che si alimenta solo con mezzo maiale a pasto (è a dieta, poi il dottore gli dice che fa sangue), e a un certo Rosco Coltrane lo sceriffo zoofilo e mentecatto, che ha la patente da 60 anni e ancora non riesce a mettere in moto la macchina della Polizia. I cugini Bo e Luke, hanno un'altra cugina di nome Daisy, una pornostar che non azzecca due parole, ma che dà via la figa a tutta la contea di Hazzard (l'ha data persino a me e a tuo fratello) con la speranza di farsi mettere incinta e fuggire dalla casa dei cugini che la stuprano continuamente, e da suo zio che gli chiede un pompino al giorno. A completare il quadretto della famiglia Duke ci pensa lo zio ubriacone Jesse, che ha attaccato il vizio (vizio che ha da quando aveva 8 anni) dell'alcool anche ai nipoti. Come tutti gli abitanti di Hazzard anche la famiglia Duke è dedita al fancazzismo e allo spaccio di armi, alcool e droghe per di più pesanti.
