The result is what many see as a cross between the D7 and the D'deridex. The main hull is a single, slightly curved, structure that curves down sharply at it edges to hold the warp nacelles. The command hull is dome like and is joined to the main hull through a central spine that slopes slightly down to the main hull. The vessel was a strong combatant.
