  • History of location is unknown.
  • In Norse mythology, Hel is the ruler of Helheim, the realm of the dead. She is the youngest child of the Norse god Loki and the giantess Angrboda. She is usually described as a horrible hag, half alive and half dead, with a gloomy and grim expression. Her face and upper body are those of a living woman's, but her thighs and legs are those of a corpse's, mottled and moldering or rotting away.
  • Hel was a quadrupedal bioweapon developed by Charles Burr and his research team of the Steel Chariots using the Hyper-evolution virus. It was a special Dreki Nest and only one was known to exist. Burr unleashed the bioweapon on Jane Bradstreet and Dom Lee in order to prevent them from escaping Jötunheimr. It was killed by the very two people it was sent to stop.
  • Hel is an Elder worshipped by the ancient Norse people as a goddess of death. Her shadowrealm of Niflheim was destroyed by Dr. John Dee when he killed Yggdrasil but she survived, swearing revenge. Hel wields a long metal whip as her primary weapon when in battle. Mars and Odin are her uncles, alongside whom she fought on Alcatraz against Xolotl and the beast imprisoned within the island. She died hand-in-hand with her uncle, Odin, as they sacrificed the rest of their aura to repel a group of Anpu and Monokerata ready to take rampage on their group trying to awaken the Old Spider, Areop-Enap.
  • Hel is very unlike the religious place with a similar name. It is a small, cold continent, covered in snow and small, meager forests. The old castles and strongholds of its shady inhabitants are scattered about the continent. Hel has no cities. There are only small trade and port towns so the viadante that live there can get enough stuff to keep their subjects alive, for as long as they live.
  • HEL (Helfer) bezeichnet eine Klasse in Realm of Restless. Verbunden mit ihr sind helfende offensive oder defensive Angriffe. Kategorie:Realm of Restless - Klassen

  • Following the tragic death of her parents, Hel became the keeper of the largest cemetery in Clint City. She asked Sheitane to give her the ability to wake the dead. Now she uses her power to defend the eternal rest by driving away evil- minded defilers.
  • Hel is the Norse goddess of the underworld, daughter of Loki and sister to Fenrisulfr and Jormungandr.
  • A place of punishment in the afterlife.
  • The capital city of the Netherworld
  • Hel is an enemy appears in the Elona+ version of Elona. She is a powerful "Lich" spellcaster. She is weak to fire. She casts Magic dart and Nether Arrow, while closing in to attack in melee.
  • Hel improves myth units, especially Giants. She does not provide a unique myth unit but instead provides access to all Norse Giant units. When advancing Fire Giant is granted. The Giants she provides do not have any specific upgrades; Frost Giants she provides cannot be upgraded with Rime, as Skadi's can, though Hel improves all Giant hitpoints. She also makes myth units train almost instantly.
  • "Hel" is the pseudonym of a British comics letterer who lettered a few stories for the Marvel UK title Action Force Monthly.
  • Hel (ヘル Heru?) is a character introduced in Shinyaku Toaru Majutsu no Index. A member of GREMLIN she is deployed in the ocean near Saipan to attack a convoy of ships most likely en route to Tokyo during GREMLIN's invasion there.
  • Hel, in Norse mythology, is the name of a goddess presiding over a realm of the same name, which is the abode of the dead. The majority of people who die will find themselves in her domain, the only exception being extraordinary warriors, who, after dying in battle, find themselves in Valhalla instead. Hel is an offspring of Loki and the giantess Angrboða. The wolf Fenrir and the giant serpent Jormungand are her siblings.
  • Hel is a Norse Goddess that is featured in Supernatural: Carved in Flesh. She called herself as a "death" when Dean said that she was not Death. She proclaimed herself as Death's "little sister".
Gdyby Jastarnia zablokowała im dojazd, to aby przedostać się gdziekolwiek drogą lądową, musieliby oni wybudować sobie most do Gdyni.
  • Hel is a Tier 4 Weekly Boss located in Vulkrum Badlands.
  • Hel is an exiled former member of the Aesiris, the daughter of Loki, and Administrator for Helheim. Hel is the secondary main antagonist of the Too Human storyline. She is voiced by Tasia Valenza.
  • Hel (or Helheim) is the realm of the dead in Norse Mythology and the name of it's ruler, Hel, daughter of Loki and Angrboda. In the show and promotional material, half her face is that of a skull and she is wearing a black cloak with a hood. The name shares the origin of the English word for "Hell", and means "hidden", "concealed".
  • Hel is a region of Niflheim, one of the Nine Realms. It is ruled by Hela and home of the dead.
  • Hel, the Queen of Darkness comes from the Death Clan of Immortals, and serves as the main antagonist of Boktai: The Sun is in Your Hand. She is the sister of Mani, Django and Sabata's mother. Hel kidnapped and raised Sabata, effectively making him into the opposite of his brother. Although she was queen, she did not garner universal respect from all Immortals, being mocked by immortals from the other two clans. This disrespect is exemplified when Black Dainn quips "Imagine someone like Hel becoming queen! What a bad joke!" in Boktai 2: Solar Boy Django.
  • Hel is a region of Niflheim that serves as the home of the dead who are neither honored nor dishonored.
  • Hel is the realm of the dead who did not die in battle.
  • Hel on yhdeksästä maailmasta alin ja yksi Yggdrasilin alimmista osista, Niffleheimin lähellä.
  • Hel may refer to: * Hel (location), a location in Norse mythology * Hel (being), ruler of Hel, the location
  • Hel (Hella in other versions) is the daughter of Loki and Angrboða. She is the sister of Fenris Wolf and Jormungand, as well as the half-sister of Sleipnir and Samirah al-Abbas.
  • Hel is the Goddess of Death of the Asgardian Pantheon and is the daughter of Loki, while Thor is her uncle and Odin is her grandfather. No living dwarves worship her, and other than her High Priest and the brood of vampire clerics he converted from the Creed of the Stone, she has no clergy. She keeps the place where the dishonored dwarven dead go due to a deal she made with Thor. After the Northern Godsmoot was hung up waiting on the result of the dwarven Council of the Clans, "Durkon" abdicated the office of High Priest in favor of the new High Priestess of Hel.
  • Hel gives Wylfred power to defy the gods by gifting him with a feather which has the ability of transforming any human being into a killing machine, claiming their life afterwards. The feather darkens after each use, eventually turning into a dark Angel Slayer if it has absorbed enough sin. She sends her minion, Ailyth to monitor his actions and offers gifts through the demon woman if he performs his duty well. Should Wylfred perform his actions poorly, she will send her powerful Realmstalkers as punishment.
  • Hel is the lowest of the Nine Worlds, it is located close to Niffleheim, resting at the lowest regions of Yggdrasill. Odin, ruler of the Asgardian gods, decreed that Hela the daughter of Loki would become goddess and ruler of the spirits of the dead on the day of her maturity. However, Odin himself directly ruled the souls of Asgardians and their human worshipers who died in battle as heroes, and had the palace of Valhalla built in a distant section of Asgard, known as Valhalla, to house them.
  • Hel, formerly known as Nuzria, is the capital of the Połysk province in the Valruzian Republic. Historically, it was the capital both of the nation of Zuma and of the Tirkalara province of the Valruzian Kingdom. Modern Hel is home to the district of Walraciuna, the largest population of Valruzians in southern Tormaszek.
  • Hel is Loki's daughter and sister to the wolf Fenrir and serpent Jörmungandr and presides in the realm with the same name (the underworld). She was appointed by Odin to be the ruler of Hel (the location). Her appearance is described as half-black and half-flesh colored, and also has a gloomy, downcast appearance. She played a big role in the attempt to resurrect Baldr. The phrase "Go to Hell" actually originated from "Go to Hel" meaning the same thing, which is "go die," since Hel was the name for both the ruler of the underworld as well as the name of the underworld.
("Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan") Categorie:Religie
  • Hel is a Norse Goddess, queen of the Norse underworld (Helheim). In Norse mythology, Hel (sometimes Anglicized or Latinized as Hela) is the queen of Hel, the Norse underworld, and she lives in Eliudnir. In the Gylfaginning, she is described as the daughter of Loki and Angrboða – a giantess (gýgr, see jotun) – and thus sister of the Fenrisulfr and the sea serpent Jörmungandr. Since her father is often described as a god, although both his parents were giants, the same might be said of Hel. She builds Naglfar, to be used against the Æsir at Ragnarök.
  • Lady of Pestilence Alignment: Neutral Evil Domains: Air, Animal, Death, Earth, Fire, Plant, Water Symbol: A face, black on one side and white on the other Garb: Druidic garb of a midnight black and snow white Favored Weapon: poisoned dagger or sword Form of Worship and Holidays: Rites to Hel are practiced by her worshipers during blights and plagues, likewise sacrifices are made to her by fearful non-worshipers to stave off plagues and illness. -Lecture at the Fallen Sword
  • Hel is Loki's daughter. Unlike her siblings Fenrir and Jörmungandr, it wasn't clear which role Hel would play in the Ragnarok, which made her dangerous to Asgard and ended up making it so that Odin sealed her in Niflheim, where she became the queen of the underworld. However, as Baldr speculated in one of her reports, Odin doesn't have a reason to have spared her life if she was that dangerous. Instead, the truth is Odin had been unable to kill her. Additionally, Baldr noted that Hel possesses a noteworthy characteristic: authority over the dead in the nine worlds, the exact same power Odin has, marking her as a second head God. Odin had sent her to the underworld because he's aware that he's only the head god due to being the only one that can fulfill the position, and that given that onl

  • Inspired by a vicious scissor-toothed shark indigenous to old-world Matar, the Hel is widely viewed as a sign of a Republic out for blood. Since the beginning of its development it has remained a project cloaked in secrecy, with precious few people aware of its progress and its capabilities, and its formal unveiling has come as a defiant slap in the face to many who formerly believed the Matari incapable of working at this scale of starship design.

  • History of location is unknown.
  • In Norse mythology, Hel is the ruler of Helheim, the realm of the dead. She is the youngest child of the Norse god Loki and the giantess Angrboda. Odin had sent her to the underworld because he's aware that he's only the head god due to being the only one that can fulfill the position, and that given that only one head god is needed, people would likely choose the innocent Hel over the scheming and manipulative war god Odin. She usually gathers the souls of those Odin doesn't want for his army and builds her own army out of them, but after meeting strangers from other worlds she realized the unfairness of the system, which eternally punishes all humans who haven't killed during their life or died in battle. Because of this, she tried to rebel against the system and bring salvation to all the souls in Niflheim.

Her first two appearances were mostly one-shot appearances dealing with her and Thor discussing the fate of a dwarf who died in an ambiguous fashion, though her further appearances are linked to her High Priest and their plan, which is to destroy the world and empower her with the souls of all the dwarves who would die dishonorably, allowing her to become the head goddess of the next world they would create. In the final strip of Blood Runs in the Family she was shown giving instructions to her High Priest, who is inhabiting the body of the late Durkon Thundershield, while all appearences past strip 1000 are those of her proxy summoned at the Godsmoot casting her vote and arguing with Heimdall and Loki about the voting procedures. After the Northern Godsmoot was hung up waiting on the result of the dwarven Council of the Clans, "Durkon" abdicated the office of High Priest in favor of the new High Priestess of Hel.
Hel is not at all a bad place, parts of it are an afterlife paradise while other parts are seen as dark and gloomy. Hel is not a place of punishment, but simply a resting place for the normal dead people. It may be reached by the road Hvergelmir "the Hell way", through a cave called Gnipahellir. When Odin became aware of the existence of Loki's children, he banished them to remote places. Hel he cast down to her realm in the underworld and gave her authority over all those in the nine worlds who do not die gloriously in battle but of sickness or of old age. She builds Naglfar, to be used against the Æsir at Ragnarök. This article is a stub. You can help WikiPagan by [ expanding it].
