Anhur was close to final victory when an urgent message was sent through the Stargate by Ra ordering him to return to Abydos to deal with an uprising among the Tau'ri. Anhur, believing the message to be false, remained on Tuat to complete his mission.

Anhur, believing the message to be false, remained on Tuat to complete his mission. Several of Ra's Jaffa, fleeing Abydos, managed to make it to Tuat where they informed Anhur of their god's fate.
