- The War of Darkness refers to the series of battles waged between Darkness and the Order of Sovereignty. While it was not a major war, it left several substantial casualties and a path of destruction in its wake. Before announcing themselves, Sirius and Rannek were sent to Hutt Space and Nal Hutta to recruit the Hutts in a spice ring that would later be used to poison millions around the Galaxy and further spread terror. They were partially successful, but did not have time to implement their plans. Several planets were brought under the rule or control of Darkness through various means. Corrupt governments, criminal organizations, and outright conquest were not beyond any of the Sith in Darkness. They always moved in secrecy to keep their presence hidden from the other governments until the time came to strike. The war officially started when Valentine decided to announce their presence by attacking Yavin IV. The resulting Massacre at Yavin was a harsh blow to the Nymean Ascendancy and added to the tensions in the ailing Ni'novian Republic. Seeing that there was no response from the newly formed Sovereign forces, Valentine attempted a daring triple strike to draw out their fleets and scatter them around the Galaxy. He picked Eriadu, Ryloth, and Kuat as targets and divided his fleet into three parts. Sirius and Daigon commanded the fleet that attacked Eriadu in the Bombardment of Eriadu that ended successfully but at the cost of Daigon. Krensus Adalar and Rannek successfully attacked Ryloth in the Destruction of Ryloth resulting in Rannek's capture by Sylitius. The only loss was at Kuat where Valentine and Molnek attacked the shipyards. In the Battle of Kuat, though they were successful in destroying most of the shipyards, Valentine was killed. After the triple attack, Darkness fell apart. Their various plots were abandoned as the people under their command realized that Valentine was no longer to threaten them and revolted. The Order of Sovereignty was able to gain information from both Daigon and Rannek to attack planets and liberate them from Darkness control. In a few skirmishes, OoS fleets wore down the limited Darkness fleets and cost them dearly. Sirius took most of the surviving fleet and vanished while Molnek took some of the fleet and did the same.
