In 2005, the male/female ratio is 1,013 women to every 1,000 men. The average income of working residents in 2003 was ₪8,544, higher than the national average of ₪6,008. During the 2003/2004 school year, 67.6% of twelfth graders received a Bagrut (matriculation) certificate.
