Synopsis
  • G'Nort returns to Earth to find his stuff has been thrown out by the Justice League. He recruits a street girl he dubs Sax Girl to be his sidekick. Together they defeat a trio of villains.
  • Arisia recounts her life, remembering her time with the corps and how she artificially aged herself to be with Hal Jordan. After barely escaping a collapse at the Green Lantern Citadel, she heads out in her car. Deep in thought, she wrecks her car and lands in the hospital. Shortly afterwards, she leaves the hospital close to a breakdown.
  • Hal Jordan leads the corps into Oa to witness the Book of Oa. Hal and the others read some of the stories involving the deeds of every Corps member, past and present.
  • Following a lead, Alan Scott chases down a group of Neo-Nazis while recalling his super-heroic life. After defeating the villains, he heads home to his wife, , and recharges his battery, something Molly takes great pleasure in witnessing.
  • A new recruit is sent to clean up the criminal hotspot, Garnet. Pathavim Seth-Ottarak is quickly killed, finding out too late about his ring's yellow weakness. The ring is sent to Jack T. Chance. Chance makes progress but is quickly recalled to Oa for his violence. Chance defends his actions, saying no one else wants the job. The Guardians reluctantly agree, sending him back in the hopes that he can do some good.
  • On a faraway planet, war envelopes a planet. The Guardians long ago sent an emissary into the void separating this star system from the others. A Green Lantern lands just before his long lifespan is to expire and gives his ring to a young woman, Shilandra Thane. She uses her powers to try and stop the war ravaging her planet; unfortunately, she is too late. A massive missile strike leaves her the only person alive. She vows to use her newfound powers to prevent this tragedy from occurring elsewhere.
