On Earth, some of Dakota's challenges are her growing attraction for Octavia Blake, the 100 becoming dependent on her maternal-personality, protecting Anavi Wilcox, growing guilt for her past crimes, and defending the group of Grounders. When Clarke Griffon becomes the co-leader of the 100 beside Bellamy Blake, Dakota turns into an essential member and acts as a crucial component in keeping the group safe and happy with her years of military research and maternal personality.
