- Freddy Krueger is the serial killer and antagonist of the A Nightmare on Elm Street franchise. He first appears in "Imaginationland, Episode II" and "Imaginationland, Episode III" within the imagination realm, in which he killed Morpheus and participated in the torture and murder of Strawberry Shortcake. In "Insheeption", he made another appearance in the real world, with a different design. Apparently having retired and living in the mountains with his family, he refuses to help the government, not wishing to kill again. After they explain that innocent lives are at stake, he agrees to help, killing Woodsy Owl and rescuing Stan Marsh and Mr. Mackey.

In the late 80's after the success of Duck Hunt, Nintendo felt it was time to up the ante and make a game about teenage human sacrifice for their family entertainment system. Dracula had a bone or 270, to pick with Freddy, ever since he he crashed the annual monster mash in 1990 and accidentally ran over the count's Wolfman. This was after he called Frankensteins 2nd bride a reanimated rebound and accused her of having the kidneys, lungs, and spleen of a man. After '93, Freddy fell on hard times, black balled from the entertainment industry by Dracula he worked a series of odd jobs trying to make ends meet. Krueger did commercials, coining KFC's catchphrase finger licking good, being paid in experimental surgical grafts of fried chicken skin, the transplant was effective until a horrific encounter with the Taco bell chihuaha. Freddy also tried out for a role in 2002's Barbershop, but the part ultimately went to Sweeney Todd after a randomly selected but disproportionate test audience of burn ward patients reacted overwhelmingly negatively to his use of burn wound patient face. Realizing his true calling was comedy, Freddy attempted to do stand up but was routinely heckled off stage by rival drag queen Fu Manchu. Realizing his act would be better with a straight man, Freddy and Jason started touring vaudeville scene in 2003, with their skit; whose buried under first? The reviews were mixed, unlike the races of couples in horror movies. After being mistaken for The Crypt Keeper one too many times by boils and ghouls down at the YMCA, Krueger felt it was time to bulk up. So Freddy hit the weights and entered the Ultimate Fighting Championship; where Sub Zero proceeded to scoop out his eyeballs and serve them to him on an ice cream cone (the ice ninja having taken a women's self defense course). Freddy is also an unlock able character in NBA Street, he appears after 168 consecutive hours of game play; although he runs and jumps better than anyone else, Freddy unfortunately can't handle the ball without deflating it. In 2010 after strip mining the 80's for every last safe established franchise, movie monk Michael Bay discovered Freddy's skeleton beneath the Shaolin monastery and started to reanimate him with CGI. The arcane ritual had to be done very precisely or it would instead create a prequel unmasking a mysterious mystical murder machine to reveal a whiny child; like in Rob Zombie's Halloween. The film friar's incantations were financially successful, and so St. Michael donated all the proceeds of his most recent vision of digitally decedent death and destruction to the families of the insects killed by Fear Factor.

Called Freddy, he was constantly ridiculed for his infamous and brutal conception. It was then he started murdering small animals, and as he grew into adulthood, he turned his masochistic behavior on himself. After suffering abuse from his stepfather for many years, he brutally murdered him with a razor. Freddy finally returned to his hometown of Springwood and was disgusted to see the picture of a perfect town, full of happy families in their tidy homes. With that jealousy and disgust building up inside him Freddy became one of the most notorious child-killers alive. Finding employment maintaining the boilers at an old steam-plant on the outskirts of town, Freddy would settle down and have a family of his own, all the time plotting his revenge upon life itself. Whilst working in the plant he went on to construct the first of his imfamous 6 inch bladed gloves. Made from and old glove and four razor sharp blades that he attached to the glove with interlocking metal sections and rivets he began his killing spree, known as the Springwood Slasher. From 1975-1977 he kidnapped and murdered 23 children. Freddy's downfall came when his wife discovered the bladed glove and a multiple of newspaper clipping about the child murders in their basement. Despite her tearful assurances that she would not tell what she knew, the paranoid Freddy would go on to throttle his wife in front of his horrified daughter. Soon afterwards, Freddy was arrested and charged with the murders of his wife and the missing children of the town. However, in their haste, the bungling officers forgot to read Freddy his rights, he was unexpectedly freed on a technicality. Seeing the threat he posed, the court placed his daughter in an orphanage. The enraged parents of Springwood, OH then took the law into their own hands. They followed Krueger to a building where he took his victims and ignited it with gasoline into a raging inferno. However, no one expected the end result of this act. Freddy's soul was so corrupt that it was decided he could be of use to dream demons imprisoned in hell. When he was promised eternal life in the world of dreams, Freddy could hardly refuse. Ever since that night, Krueger has taken his revenge on the parents of Springwood by stalking their children through their dreams. Each time he is able to twist what would seem to be a normal dream into his own brutal imagination's delight of terror. Some children have escaped thinking they have defeated him, only to have him rise again sometime later. There is only one documented case of Krueger meeting his match. While in hell, he was able to awaken Jason of Camp Crystal Lake infamy. Freddy was then able to use Jason to strike fear into the kids of Elm Street. This plan backfired when the masked killer could not be shut down. This led to a big confrontation both in the dream and real world. Freddy still lingers in the pits of hell with no indication if or when he will return.

When the staff supposed to watch the wing returned from a holiday, they found Amanda barely alive. When she gave birth to Freddy, some deemed him as the "son of a hundred maniacs". He murdered them with a glove that had knives grafted on the fingers. Freddy eventually had a wife and later a daughter named Katherine, but both were unaware of his crimes until one day when Mrs. Krueger found the glove in the basement of their home, 1428 Elm Street. Freddy strangled his wife and told Katherine to tell no one. But Katherine told the sheriff one day and police arrested him and Katherine was put in an orphanage. Unfortunately for the town of Springwood (especially for the parents of the victims), the judge responsible for signing Freddy's arrest warrant, signed it in the wrong section (due to the judge being intoxicated at the time of the warrant signing) which led for Freddy to go free, much to the ire of the victims' parents. In response, Springwood's parents tracked Freddy down to the boiler room of the chemical plant he worked in, and proceeded to set the room (along with Freddy) on fire with molotov cocktails. Amanda Krueger, feeling so ashamed that she created a monster hung herself.
