rdfs:comment | - Albertosaurus is included in the Cretaceous Calamity pack but can also be downloaded seperately. Alberosaurs are average sized Theropods. They have a Brown skin texture and a slender head and body. They will almost always fight Allosaurs and the consequence can be unpredictible. Its in-game icon is that of a Stokesaurus. The CC Albertosaurus lookes more like Stokesaurus with a different size and skin texture.
- Albertosaurus was discovered in 1884 in the Alberta area of Canada by a geological and cartographical reasearch team led by Joseph Tyrrell. They set out on the expedition to make more detailed maps of the area and to look for useful mineral deposits. As well as discovering a lot of coal, they found Albertosaurus. On the nineth of June, 1884, Joseph Tyrrell discovered some large fossilized bones that belonged to a large, meat-eating dinosaur, Albertosaurus. Although the Alberta region was known to hold dinosaur bones, the first discovery being in 1874, the bones got everyone excited as they belonged to a previously unknown species of dinosaur. It was then named Albertosaurus, as it was discovered in the Alberta region. Many others have been found since in Alberta and in westeren USA.
- Albertosaurus is a theropod dinosaur related to Tyrannosaurus. It was 9 meters long and was smaller than its more famous relative, but unlike T. rex Albertosaurus was faster.
- Albertosaurus was a large predator species of theropod dinosaur, related to Tyrannosaurus rex, from the Cretaceous period.
- Period:Late Cretaceous Range:Alberta, Alaska, New Mexico, Texas Length:28-33 feet Name meaning:Lizard from Alberta
- Albertosaurus is a large carnivore that is the member of the Tyrannosaurid family tree and one of the biggest Mesopredators in the game.
- Albertosaurus ("Alberta lizard") is a genus of tyrannosaurid theropod dinosaur that lived in western North America during the Late Cretaceous Period, more than [60-66 million years ago] The seventh episode, "Biggest Killers", introduced Albertosaurus to the series; the tenth episode, "River of Death", had two-three Albertosaurs successfully take on a herd of pachyrhinosaurs.
- The Albertosaurus (or Mountain Sharptooth) is the main antagonist in The Land Before Time VIII: The Big Freeze.
- Albertosaurus is a upcoming tyrannosaur coming to The Isle. It will be the first tyrannosaur to be added since the Tyrannosaurus life cycle.
- Stealth, power and speed were its biggest assets. With its long, powerful rear legs, Albertosaurus could outrun its prey or ambush a heavy herbivore that stood alone and unprotected. The rear legs could deliver crushing blows, knocking the prey off balance. It delivered deadly wounds with its claws. The light build and long legs show that it was relatively fast and graceful. It may have been able to run 15-40 miles per hour

- Albertosaurus (meaning "Alberta lizard") is a genus of tyrannosaurid theropod dinosaur that lived in western North America during the Late Cretaceous Period, more than 70 million years ago. The type species, A. sarcophagus, was restricted in range to the modern-day Canadian province of Alberta, after which the genus is named. Scientists disagree on the content of the genus, with some recognizing Gorgosaurus libratus as a second species.

The rear legs could deliver crushing blows, knocking the prey off balance. It delivered deadly wounds with its claws. The light build and long legs show that it was relatively fast and graceful. It may have been able to run 15-40 miles per hour The head of Albertosaurus had two small, blunt horns like the comb on a chicken today. It is possible that the male had brightly colored skin covering the horns to attract the female during mating season. It would be like birds today, with the males brightly colored to attract females. Fossil remains of Albertosaurus are common, especially teeth, which often broken when it was feeding. Several species are recognized: Albertosaurus sarcophagus and Albertosaurus Libratus are the most common. Albertosaurus lancensis has been renamed Nanotyrannus. Some paleontologists think the theropod dinosaur Alectrosaurus olseni from Mongolia is a species of Albertosaurus. If this is correct Albertosaurus lived in both North America and Asia. Albertosaurus may have hunted in packs. Albertosaurus could have hunted Albertaceratops.

Scientists disagree on the content of the genus, with some recognizing Gorgosaurus libratus as a second species. As a tyrannosaurid, Albertosaurus was a bipedal predator with tiny, two-fingered hands and a massive head with dozens of large, sharp teeth. It may have been at the top of the food chain in its local ecosystem. Although relatively large for a theropod, Albertosaurus was much smaller than its more famous relative Tyrannosaurus, probably weighing less than 2 metric tons. Fossils of more than thirty individuals have been recovered, providing scientists with a more detailed knowledge of Albertosaurus anatomy than is available for most other tyrannosaurids. The discovery of 22 individuals at one site provides evidence of pack behavior and allows studies of ontogeny and population biology which are impossible with lesser-known dinosaurs.
