During the game, Queen Ambi resides here. Inside the outer walls can be found a magnificent garden containing a secret entrance. To the west is Symmetry City, to the south is Lynna City, and to the east is Rolling Ridge. In the present, Ambi's Palace is absent, and the Nuun Highlands are in its place. Link can enter the palace from a stream that flows from Rolling Ridge, which is dried up in the present. Using this secret entrance, he enters and must avoid the guards, in a similar fashion to the infiltration of Hyrule Castle in The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time and The Legend of Zelda: The Minish Cap, to fight the possessed Nayru on the second floor. Interestingly, the guards outside the palace will instantly eject Link from the area if they see him, while the guards inside will instead rush Link and attack him. The latter will flee if hit with several sword strikes. After defeating Veran for the final time, the guards will initially attempt to stop Link from entering the castle, but then apologize upon recognizing who he is and grant him access.
