  • Vendra Prog, Prisoner 9971 or known by others as the Space Witch, was a space criminal. She escaped with her twin brother Neftin Prog in a jailbreak from the Vartax Detention Facility while being escorted by Ratchet and Clank. She, as well as Ratchet, was searching for her own species. Vendra succeeded in using her own Dimensionator in order to release the Nether leader, Mr. Eye, and his army of Nethers from the Netherverse. He revealed to Vendra that she was merely a pawn and had one of the Nethers throw her into a Netherverse portal. She later helped defeat Mr. Eye and (being forced to by Neftin) turned herself into the authorities. __TOC__

She is thought by some to be one of the most cruel villains in the Ratchet and Clank universe, particularly since she was possibly one of the few to ever cause a rather major death for two rather well introduced characters (It will be ignored to mention it up here because of major spoilers, see section below for plot details of Into The Nexus). However, if we truly were to take into account a thing like that, then Gleeman Vox of Ratchet: Deadlocked and Dr. Nefarious probably both would win the title of the most terrible villains. Still, no matter what you think of her, her personality is in fact rather nice after the whole incident and plot of even when we have truly seen not that much of her.
