  • A clock is an instrument for measuring, indicating and maintaining the time. For other specialists the term "clock" continues to mean exclusively a device with a striking mechanism for announcing intervals of time acoustically, by ringing a bell, a set of chimes, or a gong. A silent instrument lacking such a mechanism has traditionally been known as a timepiece. In general usage today, however, a "clock" refers to any device for measuring and displaying the time which, unlike a watch, is not worn on the person.
  • In this track the clock's hands move in each round and also make bloons go in different direction. At the start of the game, the clock would be reading any random time between 1 o'clock to 12 o'clock, with any angle of the minute hands. The bloons will go down through the minute hand, onto the hour hand, circle around and attempt to get back where they came from. At the end of each round, the hour hand changes by one. The Clock seems to resemble Big Ben.
  • A Clock is a kind of collectable prize or item in Kid Chameleon. It is worth 3 extra minutes to complete the level.
  • Clocks are decorations that can be placed in the player's home in the original Nintendogs. Each clock has a different description and design while some clocks are crazily shaped like the Marble clock. All clocks are worth $16.00 but the modern clock cannot be sold. Some clocks can be found while out on walks.
  • A device used for telling the time. The Unknown Prisoner found one of these when he was fighting the SpaceChomper. Created By:Kurt Elfman
  • The main parts of this costume are skirt like clock and the mask. The mask is made from “Princess crown “and simple paper clock. You have to sew the flared skirt of the white satin. The skirt belt is the wide patterned tape. The digits from 1 to 12 and clock hands are glued by the 2-side sticky tape. The rough stick out underskirt is absolutely necessary!
  • A clock is A clock is [a] device that generates periodic signals for synchronization."
  • A clock is also an evil mind. Beware clocks might set themselves to twelve am like mine did (no joke). They are also an eye magnet to children during school, during political speeches, and by recipients of honorary degrees at graduation ceremonies. Clocks can be seen everywhere, from libraries to bathrooms, in attempts to keep the public blissfully unaware of what's actually going on.
  • A clock is an instrument for measuring, indicating and maintaining the time. The word clock is derived ultimately (via Dutch, Northern French, and Medieval Latin) from the Celtic words clagan and clocca meaning "bell". For horologists and other specialists the term clock continues to mean exclusively a device with a striking mechanism for announcing intervals of time acoustically, by ringing a bell, a set of chimes, or a gong. A silent instrument lacking such a mechanism has traditionally been known as a timepiece. In general usage today, however, a "clock" refers to any device for measuring and displaying the time which, unlike a watch, is not worn on the person.
  • Clocks work similarly to compasses, with a spinning dial giving the player information. The clock displays the sun and the moon's position relative to the horizon, allowing the player to know the time even when not in view of the sun. The clock was added in the Halloween Update. Unlike many objects, you don't have to right-click the item to see the time. It shows you when you are holding it in your hand, hotbar or inventory.
  • Clock was one of the robots in the Verdan apartment that Sam Slade , Cutie and Commander Kidd tried to hide out in. Clock wanted to report them immediately as Sims and, following the meeting to decide what to do with them, was going to report everyone in the apartment until Boots stepped on it.
  • The clock is a soothing object in Albia, patterned after an Earth cuckoo clock. There are two of them in the world - one in the kitchen and one on the Grendel Tree - ticking softly and keeping time. It always appears to be five past four in the afternoon - just in time for tea! Mark Boehler has made a Chiming Clock variant that chimes when it is pushed.
  • Clocks work in a much similar way to how compasses work in the sense that the player cannot use them to change the physical world; however, their display's change depending on the circumstances. The Clock displays the Sun's and the Moon's position relative to the horizon. The Clock was added in the Halloween Update on October 31, 2010. Unlike many objects, the player doesn't have to right-click the item in order to see the time. It shows the player when they are holding it in their hand. The Clock was also added to the Minecraft: Pocket Edition in the Redstone Update v. 0.8.0.
  • The Clock is a minor imaginary friend who only appeared in the final episode of Foster's known as Goodbye to Bloo. He made 8 appearances and in 7 of them he announced the the time and whether or not things were going OK. He was often yelled at by Bloo either because he didn't want Mr. Herriman to know what time it is or he was trying to think of something to do with Mac. He made his final appearance before Cheese walked into the ballroom saying "6:00 and all's not well."
  • A Clock is a Redstone-related Item which was added in Update 0.8.0. It displays the positions of the Sun and the Moon.
  • Clocks were a primary focus of Emmett Brown's studies in time travel and physics.
  • The Clock is Abidi's version of The Parchment. It's lamer than lame.
  • Caution: Monsters' damage is modified by their statistics, which are in majority unknown. * = Target is in Telefrag State.
  • A clock is a device that is used to keep track of time. They are commonly seen as watches on a person's wrist or hanging on a wall in a person's home. Wonder Dog unplugged the clock at his house when he and Marvin White were under the impression that getting rid of such things would end the Energy Crisis. There was a vintage clock on display among Mr. Vanderbulge's art treasures at his very own estate.
  • The appraisal reward for finding one of these items is 1,560 pelagos/
  • Clock is a character appearing in Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's World Championship 2010: Reverse of Arcadia. He is a member of a Duel Gang called Team Black and Blue.
  • A seventeen-year-old with the features of a little girl is kidnapped. Stabler sees parallels with his own daughter, and must deal with a new partner.
  • This spell causes Damage and can remove or give AP over an area. This spell still hurts allies, even ones with the Temporal Focus state, on Tick turns.
  • First appearance: Sprite: The Clock item is an item that can have one of two functions: it will either increase the time limit for the round or stop time altogether. It's mostly found in single player modes.
  • Some clocks are powered by being plugged into the electrical system; others run on batteries
  • In 2121, Henry Archer kept a clock on a wall in his home on Earth. (ENT: "Broken Bow") By 2151, clocks were use on the Akaali homeworld. (ENT: "Civilization") By the 23rd century, clocks were used aboard starships in the form of on-board chronometers. (TOS: "The Naked Time" , "Balance of Terror" ) In the remastered version of "The Naked Time" , Sulu's chronometer featured a stardate clock and military time. James T. Kirk kept an antique clock in his home during his first retirement from Starfleet. Sometime prior to 2293, he gave the clock to his friend, Leonard McCoy. (Star Trek Generations)
  • The clock is particularly useful in telling the time with relation to Jimmy's attendance at school. After waking at 8 a.m., there are two classes to attend each day; morning class starts at 9 a.m., while afternoon class starts at 1 p.m.. Jimmy has the period from 11:30 a.m. until 1 p.m. free to roam the town, as well as after class finishes at 3:30 p.m.. Jimmy automatically passes out wherever he is standing if the clock hits 2 a.m., waking up outside his dorm at 8 a.m. the following morning and automatically failing whatever task he was doing before that point.
  • The First Doctor kept an ormolu clock in the TARDIS control room. (TV: An Unearthly Child) The Clockwork Droids used to break clocks to hide their own ticking. (TV: The Girl in the Fireplace) A spaceship crashed into a London clock tower known as Big Ben. (TV: Aliens of London) Jack Harkness parked his space craft by Big Ben. (TV: The Empty Child) Bilis Manger ran a store called A Stitch in Time where he sold clocks. (TV: End of Days) The Institute for Technological Advancement and Research had a beryllium atomic clock for the countdown to the new millennium. (TV: Doctor Who)
  • The RuneScape clock is a term that is used to refer to the time-frame used for actions in RuneScape. RuneScape runs on units of time of approximately 0.6 seconds which are sometimes called "ticks." All actions are a multiple of this basic tick time. This includes any instant where a message appears in the chat interface, any instant that experience is gained, any instant that a monster spawns, and any other actions a player performs, including animations (hence players being able to perform animations in sync with each other rather easily). Purely client sided occurrences are independent of the game tick (i.e. loading new regions).
  • The Clock is an item from The Legend of Zelda. Whenever Link kills an enemy there is a small chance it will drop this power-up. When Link collects a clock, every enemy on the screen is frozen in place, and is unable to attack, however, Link can still sustain damage by bumping into them. Link begins to flash multiple colors to indicate the item has taken effect. It is then easy for Link to kill the affected enemies. The clock can last for an indefinite amount of time, but automatically wears off when Link moves between screens.
  • The Clock is a piece of furniture that can be built in the Bedroom of a player-owned house with the Construction skill. There is currently no purpose for this clock, apart from aesthetics. When you examine a clock, it will say "No little mouse to be seen." Read it and it will give you a close time estimate, such as "Half past rune" or "Quarter to rune." Building a clock: * Oak clock, level 25. * Teak clock, level 55. * Gilded clock, level 85.
  • It is located in the heads-up display on the upper right-hand corner of the screen, where it remains constantly, even when the player is being jumpscared by one of the animatronics (with the exception of running out of power in the first game and when wearing the Freddy Fazbear Head in the second game). Once the clock reaches 6 AM, the night ends, and the player moves on to the next night.
  • Clocks were used onboard starships in the form of chronometers. (TOS episode: "The Naked Time", et al.) When the USS Archon visited Beta III, the computer Landru scanned the computer systems of the Archon, and incorporated much of what it found on human culture into its program. As a result, clocks with Arabic numerals soon began appearing in the Betan community, with the clocks sped up to account for the 22 hour rotational period of Beta III. (TOS novel: Ex Machina)
  • The first costumed crime fighter to appear in American comic books, the Clock could be considered the “missing link” between pulp and comic book heroes. It was the first attempt to transpose a pulp magazine style costumed hero into comic books (which, at the time, were little more then bundles of existing comic strips and original humorous content). While it was Superman who started the superhero character archetype as we know it, the Clock helped to inspire the parallel masked detective tradition. During the course of the Golden Age, those influences would occasionally overlap, becoming one of the base archetypes for the street-level, more down-to-earth superheroes that continue to play a significant role in superhero comics to this day.

Nighttime starts at 7 p.m.; after this point, although the Main Building is still accessible, it is considered to be out of bounds to students, and prefects and teachers alike will patrol the building looking for trespassers, sending Jimmy to his room at the dorm if he is caught. While Jimmy is free to wander the school grounds and town at any time during the day, curfew begins at 11 p.m.. Shops close at this point and the police begin to patrol the streets with torches, while prefects patrol the school grounds. Jimmy's Trouble Meter will always be in the full yellow point outside his dorm by that point. If Jimmy is caught, he is sent back to his room. Jimmy automatically passes out wherever he is standing if the clock hits 2 a.m., waking up outside his dorm at 8 a.m. the following morning and automatically failing whatever task he was doing before that point. The clock will disappear from the screen during the tutorial errand and the missions Christmas is Here, The Tenements, Halloween, Complete Mayhem and the final fight of each chapter, freezing the in-game time. It will also be disabled for detention, Go-Kart races, and bike races.

As we know and stated by Andrew the game runs at 600ms intervals (one tick). Is there a reason for this exact number? Could the game benefit from lower interval, for example 300ms? A. Some upcoming features in the server tick at a 50ms rate. The overall 600ms tick remains, as the content relies on having this time interval available as a base, but we’re not limited by it.Mod_jackh"

His secret identity was that of Brian O'Brien, a wealthy member of high society. As the Clock, he wore a three-piece suit, a fedora, and a black curtain mask that covered his entire face. He demonstrated mastery of disguise and used clever gadgets such as a cane whose head became a projectile and a diamond stud that fired tear gas, and he usually left behind a calling card bearing the image of a clock-face over a domino mask and the words "The Clock Has Struck" or "The Clock Will Strike At..." When he moved from Centaur to Quality, he acquired a sidekick in the form of Pat "Pug" Brady, a down on his luck businessman (and ex-collegiate boxer and football player) who bore a striking resemblance to O'Brien. They met while picking each others pockets (Crack Comics #1). Pug also wore a disguise -- a handkerchief worn "bandito" style over his face. In Crack Comics #21, Pug disappeared from the feature with no explanation. In that same issue, the Clock was almost fatally wounded in a confrontation with dope dealers, but managed to make his way into the basement of a abandoned waterfront shack. Fortunately for him, a young girl, "Butch" Buchanan, was squatting in that same basement and nursed him back to health over the course of time. Thinking him a mobster, Butch attached herself to O'Brien as his would-be "moll." With issue #22, the Clock switched from his curtain mask to the more common domino mask. Butch's introduction may have been an attempt to reinvigorate the feature's popularity, introducing humor into the strip and theoretically giving the young readers a character they could relate to. While it added a new dimension to Clock's personality, it wasn't enough to save the feature in the long run and America's first masked hero vanished from the funny pages fourteen issues later.

Once the clock reaches 6 AM, the night ends, and the player moves on to the next night. In the first two games, it only displays the current hour; it does not show minutes, seconds, etc. However, this is not the case in the night completion screens in Five Nights at Freddy's 3, in which the clock shows a transition from 5:59 AM to 6:00 AM. In Five Nights at Freddy's 4, it changed into random numbers before reaching to 6:00. In the first three games, the night is shown below the clock during normal gameplay. In Five Nights at Freddy's 4, the clock is located where the night should be in the previous three games.

(Star Trek Generations) Marla Aster kept an old clock with a large base in her house on Earth. (TNG: "The Bonding" ) Doctor Noonian Soong kept a cuckoo clock in his laboratory on Terlina III. (TNG: "Brothers" ) While under the influence of the Saltah'na energy sphere, Benjamin Sisko built a complex mechanical clock, the Saltah'na clock, which he would keep in his office in perpetuity. When asked later why he had done so, he replied "I have no idea." (DS9: "Dramatis Personae") In an alternate timeline Jake Sisko owned two clocks in his house in Louisiana. One was placed on the wall next to the door and a larger one with a base in his living room. (DS9: "The Visitor") A time-piece was a hand-held device used by an unknown humanoid culture in the Delta Quadrant for tracking time. The display featured three sets of digits which relayed rotations, intervals, and fraction, the method of which the culture tracked time. (VOY: "Time and Again") The call sheet listed this prop as "burned clock". Captain Kathryn Janeway kept a high wooden clock in her quarters aboard the Voyager. (VOY: "Eye of the Needle") When Kathryn Janeway and Tuvok were taken to the Q Continuum, a building they were led to had a clock without hands. (VOY: "Death Wish")

(TOS novel: Ex Machina) Under the influence of an ancient Saltah'na device Benjamin Sisko once built a complex bronze clock of Saltah'na design. (DS9 episode: "Dramatis Personae"; DS9 novel: Devil in the Sky) In 2376 a clock killed the Bajoran Woros Keyth when it hit him after the artificial gravity shifted in his office on Deep Space 9 during a Jem'Hadar attack. The impact caused injuries leading to fatal brain damage. (DS9 novel: Avatar, Book One)

When you examine a clock, it will say "No little mouse to be seen." Read it and it will give you a close time estimate, such as "Half past rune" or "Quarter to rune." Clocks that are not in a POH have no use as of yet, although their guess of what time it is, is accurate as long as you know what hour it is. For instance, if it is 11:00, it will say "It is rune o' clock," and the minutes are accurate to the nearest 5 minutes.

One side-effect of the clock is that it renders Peahats invincible, as long as they were moving when Link used the clock. Normally, Peahats are indestructible while they are moving, and only become vulnerable to attack when they stop. When the clock is used, Peahats are frozen in place, and their blades stop spinning. However, the game still classes them as being in their 'moving' state, and therefore they cannot take any damage. In addition, if a Peahat is frozen it cannot change between the two states, and therefore it will remain immune to attacks indefinitely, until Link leaves and the clock wears off.
