| abstract | - When faced with an offer by Dragaunus to return home, the Ducks aren't certain if the deal is genuine or a trap. Just as they're about to vote to stay or go, they're confronted by a future version of Phil. Future Phil takes them to a future before they understand what's happening. Once they vanish, it's discovered that Dragaunus had no intention of keeping his deal and had Wraith ready to fire upon them no matter their decision. When the Ducks and Phil arrive in the future, it's revealed that Dragaunus had conquered Earth. The Ducks are shocked and ask Phil how it happened. Phil explains that he does not know, and that all he knew for certain was that he arrived in the past just before the ducks were to have died. Soon the Ducks learn that Dragaunus is no longer on earth, but has left a loyal human in charge in his stead. Phineas P. Viper, a man who over the years has mutated himself into a half-man half-snake monster. Wishing to help, the Ducks work together with Phil, his resistance fighters and future versions of Thrash and Mookie, who are now mutants to defeat Viper. After Viper is defeated they return home to stop Dragaunus's original plan from succeeding.
