* And thanks for asking: a lot of people would just add the article without asking. Actually, a lot of people have added characters that aren't even in a fanfilm, or any other completed fan fiction! However, the answer turns out to be "no". Even if it's a prominent fan film, our rule is that one and only one article gets written on it. —Silly Dan (talk) 23:49, 24 April 2006 (UTC)

Fanfilms and Fanfiction really should not be included within articles, as they are not canon, even if they are a prominent character within the fanverse. * Only if it's notable. Most — in fact, almost all — fanfic isn't. I think Another Hope, notable due to its brief internet notoriety, is the only prose fanfic that I've heard of that's significant enough to warrant an article. —Silly Dan (talk) 00:41, 13 May 2006 (UTC)
