Synopsis
  • The Fantastic Four are going camping! While attempting to maintain some normalcy in their lives after the sudden loss of their fortune and home, the FF take the family , along with some of Franklin's classmates, on a camping trip. On the way up, The Thing tells the children a scary story about the Jersey Devil. The Invisible Woman promptly tells Thing to stop with the story, and orders Mister Fantastic to to pull over and ask for directions. While at the gas station getting directions, Thing is approached by a creepy old man who tells them to "Go Back". Very cryptic. The group also meets a couple of young film makers at the gas station who are shooting a documentary on the Jersey Devil. Finally, the group find the grounds and set up their camp. Meanwhile, Human Torch is back in New York adjusting to his new life as a fire man. He's clearly having trouble fitting in. One of the fire men in the station go so far as to accuse him of having set half of the fires they've had to put out. Back at the camp, Thing and Mister Fantastic are walking back to the grounds after looking around when Thing suddenly goes speechless. Mister Fantastic soon finds out why when he peers around his old friend to see a spaceship with many scary looking aliens going in and out of it. The issue then jumps to Invisible Woman holding down the camp with the children. One of the children starts stuttering, terrified, and Invisible Woman turns around to see a giant scary alien right behind her.
