Led by Collegeville Saxophonist/Clarinetist Bruce Greenwald, the band performed much of the repetoire of Stan Kenton, Count Basie, Buddy Rich, Maynard Ferguson, Duke Ellington, and Benny Goodman. The band was modelled after the West Chester University Criterions Jazz Ensemble and performed at summer jazz festivals as well as private functions. The Audubon Jazz Explosion produced two professional recordings. Their Debut CD was first featured on WPEN 950 AM shortly after release. The second CD, "Summertime" was featured nationally and internationally and was a tribute to the types of music performed at the band's summer jazz festivals.
