He played three games in the National Hockey League with the Colorado Rockies in the 1978–79 season. He played junior hockey for the New Westminster Bruins, Calgary Centennials, and Regina Pats from 1975 to 1978. He received 238 penalty minutes in 1977-78 with the Pats. The Colorado Rockies drafted him 142nd overall in the 1978 NHL Amateur Draft. Krook split the 1978-79 season between the Muskegon Mohawks and the Rockies. He played 3 games for the Rockies and scored no points.
