| abstract | - A villain for many years, the Crimson Cobra was said to be a thorn in the side of Chaotix (despite never appearing in any early strips). Blockhead Bill recognised him as a major nuisance, attempting to use the monstrous Society Max to destroy him. Unfortunately, he was actually fighting needlessly against Sonic the Hedgehog. The Cobra really came into prominence when he instigated an explosion in Chaotix Tower that mutated Vector the Crocodile into a fierce, hulking beast. His plan was to rule over the entire Special Zone once Chaotix were out of the way. The second step was to use a Brain Scrambler on Mighty the Armadillo, affecting his emotions so much that he turned on Espio the Chameleon. With the fight raging, Espio was the next victim of the Cobra's weapon, and the fight escalated, with the army called in to capture the three insane individuals. Charmy Bee managed to evade arrest, but unfortunately was the final subject of the Brain Scrambler, leaving the Crimson Cobra unopposed on his way to universal domination. Relaxing at home that evening, the Crimson Cobra turned on the news, only to discover that the insane Charmy had bought out his company (using the Queen Bee's immense wealth). Baliffs immediately came to seize all of Cobra's property, including his mechanical arms. The criminal ordered Cribbins to stop them, but even he left the Cobra's side when Charmy offered the bumbling giant double his current wages. Left with nothing, all the Cobra could do was bury his head in his (sson to be taken) hands. With the fall of the Special Zone at the hands of The Syndicate, the Crimson Cobra was presumably killed.
